Erica has been in competitive sports her entire life. Whether she was on the soccer field, in the weight
room, on the gymnastics floor, dancing or competing in front of thousands of people at a national level
for all star and collegiate cheerleading, she understands the hard work, dedication and lifestyle involved
in being a competitive athlete.
Erica is a former Wallace State Cheerleader. She cheered for the University of Kentucky and danced for
UAB as a Golden Girl. She graduated from UAB with a Communications degree and has coached in some
capacity, whether it is all star cheerleading or ReBoot since graduating. Beginning Crossfit after having a
baby was originally to help get back in to shape, but what she found was her new “team.” I have
essentially been part of a team my whole life. Whether it was being the team member, coaching soccer,
coaching cheerleading- it was a natural part of my life and you don’t realize what you are missing until
you have it again. CFT has become an essential part of my life and my family’s life. It has changed us all
mentally, physically and spiritually. Mentally I have become stronger. I have learned to physically work
out of my comfort zone to grow stronger and spiritually I have gained a group of amazing people to love
and support me and my family in our growth and in the hard times in life.
I have always had the want to be able to make an impact on the world. I pray daily I can be a world
changer. I am passionate about “being the change you want to see.” I am passionate about loving others
and I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle so you can serve others. Being able to coach ReBoot
has brought so much joy to my life. Being able to help people set goals and achieve them is one of the
most rewarding feelings in the world! I know that without those people in my life, I would not have
accomplished anything as an athlete, so I am super excited to be part of their journey.
I am married to my amazing husband Jay and mommy to Jax and our fur babies Brisbane and Maggie.
After our love for Jesus and family, our health and wellness is an important part of our family life.
